Regarding my artworks of the moon and the space, I created them pretending as if I were in the moon or in Mars instead of being reality. Mr. Ikuo, the supervisor of the project, commented, "A rocket launches, leaves the atmosphere, encounters a meteor shower, lands on the moon, and meet Martians. I felt like watching a movie. If you pursue deeper straight into the space, a pleasant fiction will be established." These works present an outer space which were created innocently from small rocks and puddles in my neighborhood.

月面と宇宙では、現実の社会を切り取った作品集ではなく、月や火星に行って撮った画像のようにイメージしました。監修の育緒さんに「ロケットが打ち上げられ、大気圏を抜け、流星群に出会い、月面に降り立ち、火星人に出会う。映画で見ているようだった。ストレートに本気で宇宙を目指すと、心地よい虚構が成立する。」とコメントをいただきました。近所に転がっている石や小さな水たまりから無邪気に宇宙空間を創造した作品です。
